Strengthening the Region’s LGBTQ Communities and Their Allies

Introducing Our New Website and Our New E-newsletter

Betty Hill, Executive Director

PERSAD CENTER is pleased to welcome you to our new website, designed to let you know what is happening at the agency and what we are doing to help the LGBTQ community. Our companion e-newsletter is brand new too, and we encourage you to share the news with friends and allies.

We know there are people who are unaware of PERSAD and our full scope of services, and with your help we can reach them. Subscribing to our e-newsletter is easy; just click the link on our homepage.

These new communication vehicles are part of the agency’s strategic effort to increase our visibility and to more effectively reach those who need our services.

We realized that our old website, while giving information about our core services, was not as dynamic as we have become. Our new site will be up to date with a calendar of events, descriptions of the impact we are having in the community, and perspectives on issues that are relevant to our mission.

When I’m out and about in the community, people often ask me, “What is new at PERSAD?” I never have trouble identifying new things that we are doing, new services we have developed, or new groups that we are working with to improve the well-being of the LGBTQ and HIV/AIDS communities. Our new website and e-newsletter will also provide a way for us to let you know what’s new.

As we continue to develop these new tools we look for opportunities to connect with allies and organizations that share our mission of strengthening the LGBTQ community. The Resources page on our website provides helpful links to vital organizations and services. If you have information about additional resources you think we should know about please let me know.

Thank you for checking out our new website, and as always, I welcome your feedback at:
