A Safe Space to Gather and Share, Following the Orlando Tragedy

Free drop-in coffee hours for the community

PERSAD Center is here to help – Beginning tomorrow morning and continuing through the week, PERSAD staff will be hosting several free Drop-In Coffee Hours for community members to gather in a safe space to share feelings, reactions and responses to the Orlando tragedy. No appointment necessary.

  • Tuesday June 14: 9:30 – 11:00 am & 6:30 – 8:00 pm
  • Wednesday June 15:  3:00 – 4:30 pm
  • Thursday June 16: 4:00  – 5:30 pm
  • Friday June 17: 9:00 – 10:30 am
  • Sunday June 19: 9:30  – 11:00 am

Also, PERSAD in collaboration with the Washington County Gay Straight Alliance will have a drop in – coffee hour from 6:30 - 8:00 pm on Friday June 17 at 1st Presbyterian Church – 100 E. Wheeling Street Washington, PA. A candlelight vigil will follow in the sanctuary of the church.
