PERSAD’s popular fundraising dinner series moved out to Sewickley this month, to the beautiful home of board member Gene Welsh and his partner, David McAdams.

Gene and David’s Federal style home with farmhouse charm drew over 50 guests for a lively, warm-weather cocktail hour on the back deck, followed by an elegant six-course seasonal meal on the wrap-around porch prepared by Chef Alan Peet and his talented team from Isabela on Grandview. As always, Deb Mortillaro of Dreadnought wines provided thoughtful wine pairings for each course, while Bill and Jamie Sarris of Sarris Candies surprised and delighted guests with a bonus dessert course: an abundant array of delicious chocolate truffles and other confectionery treats.

Spice is an ongoing series of private dinners that benefit PERSAD CENTER. Care to join us for future Spice dinners? Contact Bob McGrogan at bmcgrogan@persadcenter.org for more information about upcoming events.
