Michael Jones

Michael Jones is the Director of Strategic Partnerships & Cultural Impact at the Allegheny Intermediate Unit, where he is responsible for designing and implementing organization-wide initiatives that help create a culture where everyone can grow and thrive. He also works directly with school districts to support their individual and collective needs through professional development, workshops, coaching, role-alike meetings, and subject-matter expertise.

A committed agent of change, Michael previously worked as a senior associate within the Campus and Emerging Talent programs at a major banking corporation, leading recruiting and diversity management initiatives. Outside of his professional responsibilities, he has served as the Pittsburgh regional co-chair of IMPACT, an employee resource group dedicated to advancing multi-ethnic and multiracial employees throughout the region. He has also held positions in higher education focused on enrollment management and career development.

Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in music therapy from Seton Hill University and a master’s degree in social work from California University of Pennsylvania.
