Christine Bryan

Christine Bryan joined Persad in February 2021 and is Director of Communications & Marketing and Chief of Staff to the CEO.

From producing events, to advocating for diversity and inclusion, to developing relationships with corporations, politicians, and supportive nonprofit partners, Chris is one of Western PA’s biggest champions for equality, and she believes the work she does can only help make the region a vibrant and exciting place for everyone.

Prior to joining Persad, Chris spent 10 years as a key planner and organizer for Pittsburgh Pride, which became one of the largest events in the region and a top Pride event in the U.S. Throughout her 36-year career, she has worked for major advertising agencies in Pittsburgh and, for 12 years, served as the Director of Marketing for Bruegger’s Bagels (and can tell you everything you’d want to know about a bagel).

She is a Champion recipient of the Dignity & Respect Campaign and served as Co-Chair of the Greater Pittsburgh Campaign. She is a member of the Community Advisory Board of the Pitt Men’s Study and served on the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee at the Sarah Heinz House. In 2016, she received the Vision Towards Peace Counseling Services Forerunner Award and, in 2018, completed the Certified Festival & Event Executive program through the International Festivals & Events Association.

She’s an official member of the Punxsutawney Phil Groundhog Club, and she’s incredibly proud to be “Aunt Chris” to her six nieces and nephews.
