After one year, significant progress reported in statewide program
PERSAD CENTER was hired by the Pennsylvania Bureau of Family Health to work with 14 of its youth serving agencies in an effort to increase their cultural competence in working with LGBTQ youth.

On Wednesday, January 16, 2013 PERSAD CENTER, PFLAG-Pittsburgh and GLSEN-Pittsburgh co-hosted a Safe Schools Summit to address bullying targeted towards LGBTQ youth.
